Trip to ABRA electronics in Montreal to compare prices between them and online purchases for the project Checked for availability of adafruit IMU and triple phase inverter IC to drive the BLDC motors. Settled on some MOSFETS. Conclusion: Our canadian dollar is low and some parts should be ordered from ABRA.

Researched online and on the phone with various suppliers for best brand of BLDC gimbal motor that has worldwide distribution, good manufacturing standards and reputation among the community that uses them. The obvious conclusion was T-Motor's line of gimbal motors http://www.rctigermotor.com/html/products/GIMBAL/Gimbal_Motors/ due to their high manufacturing standards and distribution centers in almost every country http://www.rctigermotor.com/html/distributor/ . Two GB54-1 motors and two GB4106 motors were ordered for prototyping.
